Groundwater in most mines does not meet quality industrial water standards and the water quality is relatively poor.
Under such working conditions, the damage of coal mining equipment, especially the cooling system of the electric motor, the hydraulic components of the valve block, the jack, the column and the like of the hydraulic support, is greatly increased due to the water quality. As a result, the maintenance time and service life of the equipment is shortened or it cannot function properly.
This not only increases the repair and maintenance workforce of equipment, but also increases investment in equipment repair parts, which ultimately results in increased coal mining costs.
